The most expensive signing in Auction 1, Tristan Stubbs has lived up to the hype in Season 2 after feeling the pressure of expectation last season. He is back to smashing the ball like everyone knows he can and has also learnt how to close out matches with regularity for the Sunrisers. Has also taken on the wicketkeeping role and grown in this department too after every game.

Sunrisers' go-to-man at the death, Ottniel Baartman has showed that ice runs through his veins with  sensational execution when the pressure is at its most intense. He also has a better understanding of his role this year as he now plays with a smile on his face when when being hit for six as he knows the next ball is the important one and not the one he just delivered.
