Some 799 fours were driven, scooped and flicked during Betway Season 2, setting a new mark for future seasons of the League to aim to better.

Durban's Super Giants produced the most top 10 four-hitters (4), in Matthew Breetzke, Wiaan Mulder, Jon-Jon Smuts and Heinrich Klaasen - who showed that he doesn't only send the ball flying into the stands and beyond. Try as they might, however, the quartet from the runners-up couldn't usurp Jos Buttler at the top of the table, with the Paarl Royals opener finishing with the most fours for the second straight season.

In 2023, Buttler and Faf du Plessis helped themselves to 36 fours apiece, but this time around the England white ball captain claimed the top spot for himself with 44. Considering he calls Boland Park home, a venue with a slower pitch than the other SA20 venues and with a larger outfield than most it's no surprise that Buttler has emerged top of the fours table. Even more so because the 408 runs he managed in Season 2, bettered the 391 he scored last year when he was the League's leading run scorer.

Ryan Rickelton ran Buttler a close second this season, finishing the group stage on 41, while Breetzke couldn't replicate his group stage form in the playoffs where he would have hoped to charge past the leading pair.
