Paarl Royals have assembled a powerful team of cricket players to compete in the inaugural edition of the SA20. 

David Miller and Jos Buttler are some of the most destructive batters in the game and fans can expect all out entertainment when these two are at the crease. Miller has played over 400 T20 matches throughout his T20 career and he is currently ranked 29th on the ICC T20I rankings. 

Buttler has produced fireworks for England throughout his career and one memorable knock was the quick fire century which he posted against Sri Lanka off just 67 balls during the opening match of the 2021 T20 Cricket World Cup. 

The Proteas combination of Lungi Ngidi and Tabraiz Shamsi will be tasked with getting the crowd dancing with their explosive bowling and celebrations. Ngidi notched up 50 wickets in only 32 matches of T20I cricket and he will be looking to achieve more records and bring the crowd to their feet with electric bowling during the SA20. Ngidi will want to repeat his dream spell of bowling when he got four wickets in four overs against Kings XI Punjab on the 20th of May 2018. 

Shamsi is a left-arm wrist spinner and he has played for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL and this experience will be key for his team in finding the correct strategy throughout the league. Shamsi has also played in the Caribbean Premier League and he will provide his team with good knowledge on how to contain the explosive batters from the West Indies.
