BUTTLER AND RASHID POWER ENGLAND INTO THE T20 WORLD CUP SEMIS
Jos Buttler powered his England team into the ICC Men's T20 World Cup semi-finals with a blistering 83 not out off 38 balls against the United States of America at the Kensington Oval in Barbados.
The Paarl Royals opener was in dominant form as he shared a 117-run opening stand with Pretoria Capitals partner Phil Salt (25 not out) as England romped home by 10 wickets with 10.2 overs to spare.
Buttler launched a vicious assault on US spinner Harmeet Singh, smashing five sixes in the spinners' second over which cost 32 runs.

The victory lifted England to four points and boosted the defending champions’ Net Run-Rate to 1.992, which secured qualification for the semi-finals.
West Indies and South Africa face off in the evening match in Antigua to determine who will join England.
The US innings was a stop-start affair with Pretoria Capitals leg-spinner Adil Rashid once again delivering a Player of the Match performance.
Rashid spun a web around the US middle-order to finish with 2/13, while MI Cape Town all-rounder Sam Curran chipped in with 2/23.
The coup de grace was, though, delivered in the final over by Chris Jordan with the seamer picking up four wickets, including a first-ever hat-trick.
Jordan's hat-trick victims were Ali Khan, Nosthush Kenjige and Saurabh Netravalkar.
