SEC'S BRYDON CARSE TO MISS BETWAY SA20 SEASON 2

A 15-player England Lions squad has been announced to tour India in early January and Brydon Carse's place in it will rule the Sunrisers Eastern Cape quick out of Betway SA20 Season 2.

Carse, who replaced Reece Topley through injury in England's World Cup squad in late October and has played 14 One Day Internationals since his 2021 debut and three T20 internationals, will now get the opportunity to stake his national red ball claim.

The English Lions' month-long red-ball tour will coincide with the start of England Men’s five-match Test series.

Carse (28) played nine matches for Sunrisers during the inaugural SA20 season, including the final where his figures were 0/10 in his two overs. Overall he claimed five wickets.
