BETWAY SA20 ANNOUNCES PHOTOGRAPHY INTERNSHIP FOR SEASON 2

Betway SA20 has announced an exciting internship opportunity for aspiring photographers to be part of the action and entertainment for Season 2 of the League starting on 10 January 2024.

The first-of-its kind programme will look to give rising photographers an opportunity to be exposed to South Africa’s premier T20 League, and also develop the next crop of sports photographers in the country.

The intake will be tasked with capturing world-class cricket action, exciting stadium entertainment and an electric fan experience at all the matches taking place at Wanderers, Centurion, Newlands and Boland Park. It will be an invaluable learning experience as they showcase their skills to the world while working alongside some of the country’s most renowned and experienced photographers.

This paid opportunity will be open to candidates who reside in Gauteng and Western Cape only, and who are between the age of 18-25 years old. In order to be eligible for selection, candidates must also submit a short portfolio of previous work (3 images) and a short letter of motivation as to why they want to be part of Betway SA20. Applicants must ideally also own or be in possession of their own camera.

Accepted candidates will be exposed to different facets of capturing memorable moments within the stadium. The internship aims to provide a platform for young photographers to gain professional development, build networks, improve techniques and skills in the field.
