As you enter through the gates located on Corlett Drive or from the adjoining rugby fields, you can’t quite be sure what you’re about to experience as the imposing Unity Stand and Western Pavilion tower above you.

However, once you work your way through the storied terraces and glimpse the oval below you for the first time, the cauldron-like arena reveals itself – highlighting why it’s one of the most incredible places to watch cricket in the world and a venue players the world over revere.

Joburg Super Kings huddle ahead of another titanic clash at 'the Bullring'

Those cricket lovers who are lucky to call themselves regulars, will tell you that watching a match at Wanderers is a visceral experience, with the crowd's energy palpable throughout – especially under lights.

Of course, knowing where to where to situate yourself is always key, and at Wanderers the options are varied and almost unlimited – considering there’s space for over 25 000!

For families, the best places to sit are in the grass embankment in front of the Western Pavilion which offers an excellent view of the of the action if you’re able to knock off work early enough to secure your spot in time. Alternatively, seats in the Unity or Memorial stands are close to concessions so you won’t miss too many wickets and sixes.

For students or younger fans keen on a more livelier location, look no further than the iconic Open East Stand where spots on the wooden benches are unreserved.

Working pros, on the other hand (or is that the one hand) should consider the Memorial Stand. Betway Catch R2 Million opportunities have been known to land in this vicinity as well as the neighbouring Centenary Pavilion… just ask this guy in the video below!

Stay tuned to find out more about what Joburg Super Kings and the Bullring have in store for Betway SA20 Season 5.
