ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW: THE BETWAY SA20 SEASON 3 PLAYOFFS
With the new Betway SA20 playoffs structure being such a success in Season 2, and retained for 2025, the six teams will be competing fiercely until the final ball of the group stage to secure their place among the top four who qualify for the final week of the League.
Here's how the Season 3 Playoffs will unfold... think bigger and better!
QUALIFIER 1 | TUESDAY, 4 FEBRUARY 2025 | ST GEORGE'S PARK
MI Cape Town beat Paarl Royals in the the 'Battle of the Best' which pitted the top two teams after the group stage against each other. While Rashid Khan's men has secured their direct passage to Saturday's Final at the Wanderers, all is not lost for David Miller and his men in pink as they will get a second opportunity to do so on Thursday, in Qualifier 2.
Spectators at St George's Park for Qualifier 1 saw the introduction of The Nightwatchman's Pass, a new ticketing category for the Season 3 playoffs. The early arrivers were also able to play on the hallowed field, enjoy face painting and balloon artistry and so many other perks of buying tickets for the Playoffs...
ELIMINATOR | WEDNESDAY, 5 FEBRUARY 2025 | CENTURION
The Eliminator is a straight shootout between the third and fourth-placed teams after the group stage. They will meet at Centurion on 5 February (17:30) with the loser's Season 3 campaign coming to an end, while the winner will live to fight another day.
Apart from the Nightwatchman's Den, fans at the two days of cricket in the capital can also expect the following playoffs opportunities:

QUALIFIER 2 | THURSDAY, 6 FEBRUARY 2025 | CENTURION
The next day, 6 February 2025 (17:30), back at Centurion, the loser of Qualifier 1 and the winner of the Eliminator will battle it out in Qualifier 2. Their prize will be a place in the Final, against the winner of Qualifier 1.
THE FINAL | SATURDAY, 8 FEBRUARY 2025 | WANDERERS
Season 3 of Betway SA20 will conclude on Saturday, 8 February 2025 with the Final at Wanderers in Johannesburg (17:30). Two years ago it hosted a truncated, but exciting, final and the expectation is that the return to 'The Bullring' will be another show-stopping event.
