Phase 2: Gauteng North winners (beat Afrikaanse Hoër Seunskool - Affies)

Did you know? Garsies’ cricketing alumni includes Sunrisers Eastern Cape all-rounder, Beyers Swanepoel while current South African Women’s U-19 player Simone Lourens is in Matric at the school.

Garsfontein celebrate beating Affies in the Phase 2 Gauteng North Final, securing their place in the Final Showdown.

Graeme College, from Makhanda, secured their place in the Schools SA20 Final Showdown as winners of the CSA Focus Schools Tournament.

NORTHWOOD SCHOOL

Established: 1949 (as Durban North High School, current school formed in 1990 as merger between Northland Boys’ High School and Beachwood Boys’ High School)

Location: Durban North

Phase 1: KwaZulu-Natal Coastal winners (beat Glenwood High School)

Phase 2: KwaZulu-Natal winners (beat Hilton College)

Did you know? Northwood cricketing alumni includes South Africa legend Shaun Pollock (who has a field named after him at the school) and current Proteas spin bowler (and Durban’s Super Giants captain) Keshav Maharaj.

Northwood celebrate beating Hilton College in the Phase 2 KwaZulu-Natal Final, securing their place in the Final Showdown.
